If someone should steal my student ID number can it be used to access my grades or any cash account or ATM account?
Grades, Financial Aid, and Billing information is available through a secured webserver using a unity id and password. This type of data cannot be accessed using a student id number.
All banking features of the card require the use of a PIN number to create a transaction or inquire a balance. In addition, your card has a feature most bank cards do not have: Your picture!
Even though loss of your card does not pose great risk of access to your NCSU information or banking account, you must notify the AllCampus office immediately to protect your campus funds.

My department requires me to wear a photo ID badge in my work location. What do I need?
If your department requires you to wear a visible badge when you are in secure locations, or uses proximity cards to access secure doors, do not use your AllCampus Card for that purpose, as it has private data displayed on the card, such as the card number. A special badge has been created for this purpose that is also available at the AllCampus Office at the West Dunn Building.
